Merle Berelowitz, Bead Artist
My inspiration comes from the brilliant colors, wonderful shapes, and the natural beauty of flowers. I try to weave whimsical elements, like ladybugs, butterflies, and bees into my work. From the moment I was introduced to beading I was hooked - perhaps because of my exposure to beads from an early age growing up in South Africa, perhaps because I love the individualistic. Regardless, I love this fun and beautiful media, which has become part of my life.
